Anu Omideyi

2026 Judge

Anu Omideyi FRSL is an award-winning choir director with more than 30 years’ experience working with gospel choirs, singers and vocal groups across the UK and internationally.


Director of the National Gospel Music Centre, Anu continues to shape and inspire gospel music across generations. In 2025, Anu led a group of singers from across the UK to join a 500-voice mass choir at the historic Grace for the World concert in St Peter’s Square — the first concert ever held there — performing alongside artists including Andrea Bocelli, Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Hudson and John Legend.

She is Festival Director of the Liverpool Gospel Music Festival and Co-Chair of the Gospel Music Industry Alliance UK.

Volney Morgan

2026 Judge

Volney is an award-winning singer, songwriter, minister, and choir director, founder of Volney Morgan & New-Ye. With a MOBO Award, multiple Premier Gospel Awards, and performances alongside artists like Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans and Tye Tribbett, he continues to inspire audiences worldwide.


A passionate choir trainer, Volney regularly travels across Europe, delivering workshops and developing singers, and has worked with gospel legend Donald Lawrence.

He and his wife Angel are Senior Pastors of Alive City Church UK in London, sharing their passion for music, faith, and community.

Russell Scott

2026 Judge

Russell is a producer, musical director, singer, vocal coach, and mentor with over 45 years in the music industry. Founder of the World Voices Festival, Russell directs workshops and performances that inspire singers and directors of all levels. Since 2010, he has served as Musical Director of Next Stage Choir, creating unique performance opportunities for its members.

He has sold over 100,000 records, contributed to major film soundtracks like Pirates of the Caribbean and Shrek 2, and performed at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, London Palladium, and Royal Festival Hall.

He also hosts The Choir Director Podcast, which has gained global support.

Limoblaze

2026 Guest Judge

Limoblaze is an award-winning AfroGospel artist known for blending Afrobeats, hip-hop and contemporary gospel music into a distinctive, globally resonant sound. Born Samuel Onwubiko in Nigeria and now based in the UK, he has emerged as one of the leading voices in the growing AfroGospel movement, bridging cultures through music rooted in faith.


His breakout single Jireh (My Provider), a collaboration with Lecrae and Happi, introduced his sound to international audiences and marked a major turning point in his career. Limoblaze has since released a series of acclaimed projects, including Blind, Before Now and Afrobeats, Rap & Jesus, showcasing both his versatility and message-driven artistry.

In 2022, he signed with Reach Records, further expanding his global reach. His momentum continued with a win for Best Gospel Act at the MOBO Awards in 2024, cementing his influence across the UK and beyond.
